Have you encountered someone who you think is the one? That someone who you always see, yet you know nothing about her? Her name, address, block, course, or even what's her favourite food, colour and all nonsense thing about her. That's the only thing you know about her, and you wish to know a lot more.
Turn Left, Turn Right is film about two destined lovers but being played by fate. John Liu is an aspiring violinist who is flocked by women like bees to honey because of his handsome face; however what he really wants is to meet someone special who appreciates his violin performance. Eve Choi is a professional translator whose true passion is translating love poems, but for work she is stuck in translating cheesy novels and cheap thrillers which make her feel tense and frightened. Living in different units of the same apartment building and separated by one thin wall, they two have brushed shoulders in crowd hundreds times, but somehow their paths never really cross.
This films will take you to a feelstrip. It will make your watching experience feel like your feelings are in a roller coaster ride. Every time they are in the same place, they still don't see each other until it's too late. It's film that has a good quality of plot, an irritating plot due to fate's playful mind. When you think and feel that they're going to meet, you're wrong; Fate will just do its thing and let the two couple crossed path without seeing each other. A film worth watching when you're hopeless romantic. The cinematography was well done and the plot was well explained and shown. The artists had a chemistry that fits well in the film.
Overall, it's a film worth watching and a film that will can take your feelings to ups and down. Unique plot, Interesting theme, good directing, well-executed cinematography, and charming artists.
