The Phantom of the Opera is a musical with music by Andrew Lloyd Webberand lyrics by Charles Hart with additions from Richard Stilgoe. Lloyd Webber and Stilgoe also wrote the musical's book together Based on the French novel Le Fantôme de l'Opéra by Gaston Leroux, its central plot revolves around a beautiful soprano, Christine Daaé, who becomes the obsession of a mysterious, disfigured musical genius.

As a huge fan of plays, this play is one of the most beautiful and most interesting play that I have watched. Giving me the chance to watch this play was a blessing for me because nowadays, having a copy of this play is a difficult thing to achieve. 

The one that I watched was the version of The Phantom of The Opera at the Royal Albert Hall which was the adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber's 1986 musical. The story behind the new version was To mark the extraordinary milestone of 25 years, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh planned a special 3-day production to take place at London's Royal Albert Hall in October 2011. The play starred Ramin Karimloo as The PhantomSierra Boggess as Christine DaaéHadley Fraser as Raoul, Vicomte de ChagnyWendy Ferguson as Carlotta GiudicelliLiz Robertson as Madame Giry Daisy Maywood as Meg Giry

With the roughly 3 hours of running time, no time was wasted. The play was done excellently. The audience can feel the passion of each actors portraying their characters. The stage was well designed and each acts were well executed.
